Veteran public relations executive Ryan Julison has spent more 25 years managing global communications, media and PR strategies and campaigns for organizations in a wide-range of industries.
In 2009, Ryan Julison founded Julison Communications, a full-service public relations and crisis communications firm specializing in handling high-profile legal cases for attorneys and their clients.
For the past decade, Julison has worked closely with attorneys to both manage high-profile cases and raise awareness for cases that promoted the greater good.
Of note, Julison has worked with the families of and attorneys for Trayvon Martin, George Floyd, Rayshard Brooks, Ahmaud Arbery, Walter Scott, the South Carolina man who was shot and killed as he ran from a North Charleston police officer; Jonathan Ferrell, the former FAMU football player killed by a Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officer; Tyler Clementi, the Rutgers student who jumped to his death from the George Washington Bridge after he was outed as gay by his roommate; Robert Champion, the FAMU drum major beaten to death in a hazing ritual and Alton Sterling, the Baton Rouge man whose killing by police was captured on cellphone video, among numerous others.
Additionally, he helped attorneys navigate the media process in the $1.2 billion dollar Black Farmers Settlement, a record-breaking $23.6 billion tobacco verdict, $1 billion rape verdict and complex opioid litigation.
Prior to founding Julison Communications, Julison served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications for Ginn Resorts, which at the time was one of the country’s leading luxury resort real estate, hospitality management and golf development companies with more than $2 billion in sales, 16 resorts and private club communities in operation and more than 40,000 acres of land in development.
During his tenure at Ginn, Julison provided strategic PR counsel and managed day-to-day communications efforrts for the company. As the real estate market collapsed in 2008, he directed senior management in crisis communications company-wide which included a variety of complex and wide-ranging issues involving litigation with outside entities, property owners, club members and employees.
Prior to joining Ginn, Julison served in leadership capacities at several Orlando-area public relations firms where he managed a wide-range of clients.
Julison is a graduate of Stetson University and is actively involved in a variety of charitable endeavors.
